Donna Marie De Pew, 77, died peacefully at home in the midst of her family, Thursday, March 22nd, 2007. She was born February 3rd, 1930, in Blackford County, Indiana, to Otis and Jennie Mae Bennett. Donna was preceded in death by her husband Floyd De Pew in 2000 and by 9 brothers & sisters. Her loving family of 2 sons and 4 daughters survives her: Stanley (Connie) De Pew, Sterling De Pew, Sheila Dorsett, Sherllyn (Jack) Hale, Sharon De Pew, and Shawn Robinson. One brother, Bob (Helen) Bennett; two sisters, Ocie Finley and Norma Fleck; 17 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren also survive her.
Donna joined the Paino ministries at age 18 and was a member for 59 years. An artist, crafter, mechanic, veterinary, gardener, made Donna a jill of all trades. She loved the color purple and dolls of all kinds; she was an avid Elvis fan. Her love of wearing pretty hats, had friends and acquaintances calling her "the Hat Lady". She loved her family and enjoyed them being with her. She will be missed greatly.
