Donna Jean Hall, 86, passed Friday, August 16, 2019.  Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter to the late Theodore D. Grimme and Esther E. (Graham) Grimme.  Donna was a homemaker for her family as the kids were growing up and later had worked retail at L.S. Ayres.  Donna was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.

Donna is survived by son, William Bruce Hall of Fort Wayne; daughters, Cathy (Dwayne) Lawinger of Fort Wayne and Debra Burlison of Fort Wayne; brother, Steve (Bonnie) Grimme of Huntington; 8 grandchildren, Jeremy (Michelle) Burlison, Aimee (Eric) Showalter, Austin (Caitlyn) Hetrick, Zachary (Helene) Hetrick, Erin Hall, Jessica Lawinger, Bryan Lawinger and Sarah Lawinger; 6 great grandchildren, Christopher Lawinger~Garcia, Violet Lawinger, Summer (Chris) Luna, Kara Berry, Christian Burlison and Breanna Burlison; and one great great grandson, Khai Luna.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Hall, on June 23, 2004; son, David Hall, in 2007; brothers, Bill, Bob, her twin brother, Don, Paul Grimme and sisters, Sue Bunner and Martha Wilson.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2019 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior.  Officiating will be Chaplain Karen Kosburg. Calling is also 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the funeral home.  She will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens.  Preferred memorials are to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
