Donna Lou Schilling (Ruble), age 85 of Fort Wayne, passed away on September 20, 2025. Donna was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and was retired from the Lincoln Life Insurance Company.  Donna graduated from South Side High School and attended St. Francis and Ball State University.  She enjoyed cooking, caring for animals, QVC, and maintaining contact with her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents Allen J. and Pauline C. Ruble and brother Dr. James Ruble DDS.  She is survived by her sons Rick Schilling of Broomfield, Co, Chris Schilling of Ft. Wayne, Steve Schilling, Knoxville, Tn., grandchildren Kayla Boucher of Jacksonville, Fl, Alix Schilling of Ft. Wayne, and Casey Schilling-Gray of Ypsilanti, Mi.  She also had a great-grandchild, Dash Boucher.  In addition, Donna also loved her faithful 4-legged companion Drizzy.   Donna was a caring and giving mother who supported her children and grandchildren in all of their endeavors.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
