Donna J. Stroble, 86, passed away at her home and is now with her Savior.  She was born October 21, 1932, to David E. Rhodes and Edith Barnhart Rhodes. She graduated from South Side High School, worked at Harvester, S.S. Kresge, and the Savoy. She married Jimmie L. Stroble, and they enjoyed life together until his death in 1996.  They shared a love of antiques, and together started Stroble's Antiques.  She had many friends and lived life fully.  She was an active member of Lifewater Community Church, Red Hat, Lutheran Health Services, enjoyed water aerobics several days a week, and traveling with Land Cruise.  She was a prayer warrior and had been known to spend all night praying when the need was great.  She loved her family and her Lord.  She was a woman of kindness, gentleness, and faith. "Her children arise and call her blessed." Prov. 31:28.

She is survived by her daughters  Laura (Michael) Saxman of Fort Wayne, Lisa (Charles) Richmond of Columbia City, Linde (McDuffie) Strickland of Hamilton, Ohio, sister, Ida May Mielke, and brother, Donald (Dorothy) Rhodes, five grandsons, Scott (Tisha) Richmond, David (Kristen) Richmond, Jeremiah (Casey) Mink, Jacob (Carrie) Mink, Joseph Mink and ten great grandchildren, Lillian, Landon, Logan, Ainsely, Everly all Richmond, Kyle, Noah, Caleb, Kyla, Jude all Mink. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie, sister Helen Kinerk, and sister Maxine Zigler Kinerk.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday November 30, 2018 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd with calling 1 hour prior to service.  There is also calling at the funeral home Thursday November 29, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm.  Memorials to Lifewater Community Church or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
