Dora Alberta Giovannetti, 77, died suddenly on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Jonesboro, Ill., to Mildred Irean Mayberry and the late William Lesley Wright. She retired from Electric Motive after 25 years of service.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Ferry of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Charlotte Marie (Kenneth) Shealy, Jeffrey Alan Jr. Ferry and Jack Robert Ferry all of Fort Wayne; mother, Mildred Irean (Mayberry) Wright.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Leon Brown; second husband, Felix Stephen Giovannetti; son in law, Jeffery Ferry, Sr.; and two sisters, Margaret Louise Wright and Barbara Charlotte Woods.

Memorial service is 3 p.m., March 5, 2014 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling from noon to 3 p.m.
