Doris J. Cox, 72, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday Feb 26, 2008 at Hospice Home. Born Jan. 7, 1936 in New Haven, She retired from Mattel after 33 years. She is survived by sons, Gary Cox of Howe, and Ron Cox of Fort Wayne; brother, Paul Shadle of Fort Wayne; sisters, Alice Hetrick of Fort Wayne, Helen Roegers of Fort Wayne, and Phyllis Brown of Florida; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren with one soon to be great grandchild on the way. Service 11 a .m. Saturday with calling one hour prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Calling also Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
