Dorlene Ruth (Paterson) Poling, 83, died Friday, September 11, 2015. Born in Woodburn, she was the daughter of the late, William H. Paterson and Hilda (Norden) Paterson. Dorlene was a wonderful homemaker and a member of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Kurt and Pat Poling of Huntertown; siblings, Robert (Betty) Paterson, Marie Melcher, Peg (Nick) Lake and Barb Rainey all of New Haven; grandson, Ryan Poling of Huntertown.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth A. Poling, in 2006; sisters, Carol Kilpatrick and Connie Howard.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 West California Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. She will be laid to rest at Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Central Lutheran School.
