Dorothy B. Hanni, 79, died Saturday January 28, 2012 at Lutheran Hospital. Born on December 10, 1932 in Adams County to the late Gordon and Edna Burkhart. Dorothy was a loving mom and homemaker. Surviving are children, Glen (Beth) Hanni, Ossian, IN, Barbara Hunter, Roanoke, IN, daughter-in-law, Rita Hanni, Ft. Wayne, brothers, Robert (Ruth) Burkhart, Adams Co., Larry (Judy) Burkhart, Huntertown, IN, sister, Helen Cook, Decatur, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbert Hanni, son, Earl Hanni, brother, Howard Burkhart and sister, Rosella Steffen. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. February 1, 2012 with calling 1 hour prior to service at the Jehovah''s Witnesses Sandpoint Kingdom Hall 3630 Sandpoint Rd. Ft. Wayne, IN 46809. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
