Dorothy Lucille Jefferies, 80, of Jacksonville, Florida and formerly of Fort Wayne died May 24, 2011. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred Hagadorn.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Butler of Jacksonville, Florida, Sharon Fowler of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and Deborah Wick of Black Shear, Georgia; sons, Danny Meyers of Orange Park, Florida, and Terry Meyers of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers, Jim, Edward and Frederick Hagadorn all of Fort Wayne and Steven Bassatt of Harlan; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald C. Meyers and her second husband, Robert L. Jefferies.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
