Dorothy Marie Koeneman, 94, of Richardson, Texas passed away on September 5, 2020.  Dorothy was born on March 4, 1926 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to John and Ilo Boyd.

After marrying the love of her life, Robert Koeneman in 1948, they stayed in Fort Wayne, Indiana and raised their family.  She was an active member at Holy Cross Lutheran Church and headed the church bazaar and quilting group for many years.  After moving to Texas in 2017, she became a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas, and stayed a member until her passing.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Koeneman and both her parents.

She is survived by her children, daughter Janet Stone, and son Daniel Koeneman and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Matthew Koeneman and wife Paige, Nathan Koeneman and wife Julie, and Rebekah Koeneman; great grandchildren, Lucy and Saoirse.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 2pm at Messiah Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas and another Memorial service, Monday, October 5, 2020 at 11am at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home in Fort Wayne followed by inurnment.
