Dorothy "Dottie" Maye Rohrbach, 99, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Dottie was a daughter of the late Adrian and Hermina Schnepp. She attended Central High School. Dottie married Eldred "El" Rohrbach and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2003. She worked at Savoy Women's Clothing Store and was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church. Dottie and El enjoyed ballroom dancing together. Above everything else, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her son, Michael (Julianne) Rohrbach; sister, Delores Ruby; three granddaughters; one grandson; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carole A. Klaehn; sisters, Betty Lorenz and Vera Schmidt. Funeral service 1:00pm, Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Lutheran Church.
