Dorothy "Dottie" Steffen, 82, passed away on January 25, 2026.  She was born on August 18, 1943, to the late Robert and Laura (Noble) Britton.  She was married to Larry J. Steffen, who passed away in 2022.

Dottie graduated from Northside in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  She was determined, strong-willed and stubborn; it was her way or no way.  She loved dogs and puzzles. Scrabble was her favorite board game.

Dottie is survived by sons, Scott (Rhonda) Steffen and Jon (Ernie) Steffen; grandchildren, Travis (Kim) Steffen, Jordan (Jake) Osborn, and Justin Steffen; and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, and brother, Bob Britton.
