Earl F. Furniss, age 83, passed away August 3 at V.A. Hospital in Ft. Wayne. He was born June 16, 1926 to Frank and Dessie (Darling) Furniss and they preceded him in death. He was an Army World War II veteran and a Route Salesman for Troy Towel Supply. His hobbies included gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He married Erma L. McAbee on October 11, 1947 and she survives along with 3 Sons, Robert (Ranelle) of Port St. Lucia, FL, Richard (Dian) of Ft. Wayne, and Randolph (Tami) Furniss of LaGrange, IN, as well as 2 Daughters, Dianna (Daniel) Auer of Albion and Cynthia (Kevin) Pappert of New Haven; 3 Brothers, Harold (Dorthy) of Ft. Wayne, Jack (Barbara) of Ft. Wayne, and James (Monica) Furniss of Ft. Wayne; 2 Sisters Dorothy (Melvin) Bradtmiller of Ft. Wayne and Sally Hutchinson of Ft. Wayne, 11 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 7, at 2:00 PM at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 12 Noon to service time. Burial will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens.
