Easter L. Dunlap, 95, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born to Ralph and Ethel (Osborne) Lewis, she was the fifth child of 9 children. Easter married George E. Dunlap and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2022. They enjoyed and supported each other for many long years, in the good times, as well as times in illness. Easter worked for Peter Eckrich and Lutheran Hospital. Easter was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. More than anything else, she loved hosting her family and cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Easter was a phenomenal cook and will be greatly missed. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian. Easter enjoyed playing 500 Rummy and reading. She is survived by her three children, Herb (Lynnette) Dunlap, Debra (Dunlap) Bechdolt and Joyce (Dunlap) (Rick) Ellison; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings and son-in-law, Larry Bechdolt. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 1:00pm in Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's nearest food bank. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
