Obituary

Edgar Bultemeier, 88, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at The Cedars in Leo. Born in Decatur, he was the son of the late Walter and Clara (nee, Miller) Bultemeier. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. The World War II Army Veteran was a truck driver with Kroger for over 40 years, a member of the Teamsters and American Legion Post 296. Surviving are his sons, Kenneth (Jean), Terry, and Michael (Anita) Bultemeier; daughters, Cheryl Ralston, Connie (Joe) Avila and Phyllis Call; brothers, Norvin "Snorty" and Oswald Bultemeier; sister, Melinda Bieberich; 10 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Geraldine, of 63 years in 2009; sister, Alvena Renking; two brothers, Alfred and Walter Bultemeier. Funeral Service is 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
