Edgar F. Langston 81 went home to be with his Lord January 7 at his winter home in Avon Park, FL. He was a shipping clerk for Dana Corporation 34 years and in retirement; he started Langston Remodeling for 10 years. Surviving are his wife of 56 years Karen Langston, Ft. Wayne, son, Tim (Carole) Langston, Ft. Wayne, daughter, Tammy (Steve) Cole, Keller, Texas, brother, Walter (Anne) Langston, sisters, Helen (Jack) Ludlum, Carol Lane, grandchildren, Danny, Tyler, Amanda, Sarah, Emily. He was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Langston and sister, Doloris McCormick. Services are 11a.m. Friday January 14 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with calling 30 minutes prior to service. There will also be calling Thursday 3-8 p.m. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred Memorials to Calvary Baptist Church 7810 St. Joe Center Rd. or Donors Choice.
