Edna Mae Chelf, 63, of Fort Wayne, passed on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at St Joe Hospital. Born in Knoxville, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late James Thomas and Creetie Mae (Russell) Tinnel. She was a wonderful homemaker and devoted wife.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Mike; sons, Gerald (Jo Eva) Yoquelet of Indianapolis, Dale Yoquelet of Fort Wayne and Waylon (Tracey) Zollinger of Fairmount; daughter, Dawn (Jim) Collette of Fort Wayne; brother Bill Tinnel of Fort Wayne; sisters, Barbara (Chuck) Jacobson of Fort Wayne and Linda (Phil) Mitchell of Knoxville, Tenn; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild due this fall.
Funeral Service is 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also 3-5 to 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial are to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
