Edward Robert Gerdom, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on May 6, 2022. in Florida. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on December 14, 1960, a son of Robert and Anna Gerdom. Ed had attended Ivy Tech and graduated with a degree in social work. Ed was a Boy Scout, landscaper, painter, service worker, construction, roofing skills, the most noteworthy attribute was that he cared and helped with the physical health and needs of his parents. He was very dedicated and loyal to his family. Surviving are his father, Robert Gerdom; siblings, Mike, Stephen (Patricia) and David (Mary Beth) Gerdom; sisters, Laura (Bill) Watercutter, Susan Lansaw, Linda (Kevin) Conrad and Mary Taylor. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Gerdom. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on September 9, 2023 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 4916 Trier Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46815, with calling one hour prior. Burial will take place in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN immediately following.
