Edwin Koithahn, 80, of Ft. Wayne, passed away Friday, June 6, 2008 in Urbana, OH. Born Jan. 11, 1928 in Woodburn, Ed retired from International Harvester after 50 years of service. He had been a member of the hospital unit of the Shiner''s in Cromwell. Ed is survived by his children Henry (Linda) Koithahn of Ft. Wayne, Janet (Ron) McCurdy of Urbana, OH, Jerry Fowler, and Don (Tonna) Ruhr; numerous grandchildren; and sister Delores Grimme of Greeley, Co. Ed is preceded in death by his wife Betty Koithahn, brother Bernard and sister Sally Grimme. Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Monday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington RD with calling there two hours prior.
