Ed Shaffer, 84, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2008 at his residence. He was served in WWII with the Navy and retired from International Harvester. Ed is survived by his adopted children Sheila Lee, Micheal Smith, and Curt Hunley; one adopted grandson; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and sister Marilyn. He is preceded in by his parents Homer and Lena Shaffer and two daughters, Linda and Penny. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family residence on Saturday, March 8, 2008.
