Eleanor "Elle" Mae Bolenbaugh, 84, went to her heavenly home Thursday, February 9, 2017. She was born February 18, 1932 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late William Alfeld and Esther Alfeld-Hartman. Eleanor worked as a Registered Nurse and retired from Park Center. She volunteered at Lutheran Hospital and was an active member of St. Michael Lutheran Church.

Surviving is son Robert (Tracy) Bolenbaugh, grandchildren Jeremy and Bradley (Alice), sister Ruth Horacek and brother Louis (Lois) Alfeld. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert of 50 years, husband Carl Fruechtenicht, daughter Janet Bolenbaugh and four siblings.

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at St. Michael Lutheran Church 2131 Getz Rd. Ft. Wayne, IN with viewing one hour prior to service. There is also viewing Monday, February 13, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred memorial are to St. Michal Lutheran Church, Alzheimer Assoc. or Heartland Hospice.
