Eleanor Mae Allen, 91, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at StoryPoint Fort Wayne West, Indiana. She was born in Endicott, NY to the late Leslie E. and Leola R. (Sommers) Corwin. Eleanor married David Allen and he preceded her in death in 1999. She was spiritual and was a devoted wife and mother. Eleanor enjoyed shopping, was a wonderful cook and financial wiz, and rescued hundreds of animals over the years. Surviving are her daughters, Lisa Claire Allen, Laura Ann Allen and Joan Rachel Allen; brothers, Robert Leslie Corwin and James Thomas Corwin; and several nieces and nephews. Eleanor was also preceded in death by her sister, Joan M. White. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Friday, November 18, 2022 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Fort Wayne Humane or National Kidney Foundation.
