Elfrieda Pflueger, 96, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015; daughter of Calvin and Barbara Liechty. She died at Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne, IN. She graduated from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in 1944. Most recently she had worked as a nurse at the Lutheran Home and then volunteered many hours as a part of their auxiliary. She was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church where she also volunteered over many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, of 47 years and 1 brother and 5 sisters.

Surviving family include: Children, Janis Mundt (Allen), Karen Aupperle (Randy), Alan Pflueger (Sherri); 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8708 Covington Rd. with viewing 1 hour prior to service. Viewing also on Sunday from 2-4 and 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials can be given to Emmaus Lutheran School, Emmaus Lutheran Securing the Foundation Fund, or to Lutheran Life Villages.
