Elisabeth (Lisa) Snyder, 78, of Fort Wayne passed away peacefully at home Saturday July 25. Motivated by the love of family and close friends, Lisa courageously battled multiple illnesses during the last years of her life. Born December 5. 1930 in Regensburg Germany, she came to the USA in 1953 where she married Frank James Snyder whom she lovingly cared for until his death. Also preceding her in death was her beloved son Frankie and her precious granddaughter Lisa Belcher. She retired from Pepsi Cola after 17 years of service. She also worked for Excell Color Graphics for 10 years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed bingo, playing slot machines. "Seek and Find" and spending time with her friends at the American Legion post 241. Her kind heart and gentle ways will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her grandchildren would always look forward to their very special Christmases at "MOM-O and DOT''S house." She is survived by Her Loving Adopted Sister Ina (Bert) DePue (N. Webster), and sisters; Lydia (Gottfried) Zeller, Traudi Luckner (Germany) Sons: Ollie Snyder, Edward (Ellen) Snyder of Ft. Wayne. Daughters: Kathrina Murchland (Kendallville), Hilda Blaising (Auburn) (Sue) Donalee Kessler (Washington), Effie (Ron) Sheron, Eva Krueger (Ft. Wayne) Grandchildren: Misty Markle, Dawn Ochoa, Angel Snyder, Terry Snyder, Chris Snyder, Tiffany Yoquelet, Jeromie Bengs, Paul Cunning, Chuck Belcher, Angelic Mendoza, Philip Kessler,Andrea Kessler, Ron Sheron Jr., Franklin Sheron, Misty Marquez, Rachel Neal, Bobby Neal, 32 Great Grandchildren, Best Friends Ruth & Charlene and Special thanks to Loretta, her in-home nurse. Memorials to: Cancer Services of Ft. Wayne. Services are 2 p.m. Friday July 31, 2009 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation 4-8 Thursday and one hour prior to service on Friday.
