Obituary

Elizabeth K. Bieber, age 85, passed away Tuesday July 7, in Markle, IN. Born January 2, 1924 in Ft. Wayne, she was the daughter of Clyde and Mary Lerch Bireley. She formerly worked at G.E. and International Harvester. She attended Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and was a member of the D.A.V. and American Legion Post # 82. She married Eldon Bieber and he preceded her in death June 23, 2000. She is survived by her daughter Judith (Phillip) Krom, of Markle, sons James (Kim) Bieber, of Greenville, IN, Joseph (Nancy) Bieber, of Ft. Wayne, and Jack Porter, of Amarillo, TX, her brothers, Jerome (Jaree) Bireley, Ronald (Rose) Bireley, both of Ft. Wayne, sisters Joan Bransetter, of Branson, MO, Madonna Davis of Ft. Wayne, many grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her felines, Blue and Blackie. She is preceded in death also by her parents, brothers, Robert and Richard and sister Rita Roller. Special thanks to Hospice Home Care for making her final days peaceful. Funeral Services will be Friday July10 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home at 11:00am with Chaplain Robert Gonser officiating and burial to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. The family''s preferred memorial is Markle Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
