She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ. She worked in Jewelry sales at several locations around the Fort Wayne area. She is survived by her son, Ralph C. Fortriede of Fort Wayne; daughter, Linda J. Dorbin of Kalamazoo, MI; sister, Patricia Phillips of Warsaw; five grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph A. Fortriede; second husband, Robert E. Fiedler; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters. Service is 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2009 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour before service. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
