Elizabeth A. Anderson, 59, died Wednesday April 8, 2015. She was born May 21, 1955 in St. Louis, MO to the late Mark and Ruth Shepard.

Elizabeth was a Speech Language Pathologist with Whitko Community Schools for 4 years. She graduated in 1973 from Kirkwood H.S. then received her BS in 1977 and Masters in 1981 from Southeast Missouri State University. Over the years Elizabeth worked in Loansport and Kokomo Center and Northwestern and Garrett Butler School systems. She was a member of A.S.H.A., Beta Sigma Phi, Daughters of the American Revolution and Sonrise United Methodist Church. She cherished her time with her family and friends and a good game of Boggle or Rummikub.

Elizabeth was an avid Indiana/Purdue basketball fan as well as enjoying the simple pleasures in life like walking on the beach, watching birds, swimming and sea shells

Surviving is her husband Dale Anderson, children, Laura, Paula, and Justin Anderson, sister, Carole Gilliard and nephew, Allen Gilliard.

Viewing will be 3-6 p.m. Saturday April 11, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with service at 6:00 p.m. Honoring Elizabeth''s wishes her cremated remains will be placed in Florida.
