Elnora Louise Raney, 82, of Huntington, passed away April 15, 2016 at home. Born April 19, 1933, she was the daughter to the late Lloyd and Bertha (Jenks) Miller. Elnora retired from GTE in 1992. Elnora loved her family and throughout her life gave of herself to serve and care for others.

She is survived by her daughters, Caryn Raney Best and Nancy Raney both of Huntington; sons, Dennis (Jennifer) Raney of Fort Wayne and Donald (Jaymes Richardson) Raney of Colonial Beach, Virginia; grandchildren, Adam (Vicki) Gaunt of Terre Haute and Brian (Kelly) Gaunt of Mantachi, Mississippi; great grandchildren, Katelynn, Alexis, Brendon, Kiara, and Kayla Gaunt; brothers, Keith (Mary) Miller of Auburn and Bill Miller of Fort Wayne; sister, Jane (Bob) Overmyer of Morganton, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by husband, Norval Raney; brothers, Lloyd Jr. and Jerry Miller; and son in law, Gene Best, Jr.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2016 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Honor Flight of Northeast Indiana.
