Elsa Marie Rodriguez-Kahn, 50, of Fort Wayne, was called home after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at home with her family by her side. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked at G.M. in the human resources dept as a benefits representative.

"Everything we ever needed to know you instilled in us, Thank You, mom!"

She is survived by her children, Erica (Michael) Koehler, Nick Kahn and Nina Kahn all of Fort Wayne; parents, Ramiro and Ygnacia Rodriguez of Fort Wayne; brother, Alejandro Rodriguez of Fort Wayne; sisters, Rita and Karla Rodriguez of Fort Wayne; and five sweet granddaughters, Elsa, Avriel, Kiera, Avalon and Persephone.

Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road, with calling one hour prior. Viewing is also 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with a vigil service at 3:45p.m., Fr. Timothy Wrozek. She will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials are to G.M Union 2209.
