Elvira G. Ramirez, 86, died on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Lutheran Life Villages. Born in Prima, Texas, she was the daughter to the late, Rafael and Concepcion Gonzalez. Elvira was a member of the former St. Paul''s Catholic Church. She had worked for St. Joe Hospital and Parnell Nursing Home.

Elvira is survived by her husband of 64 years, Octaviano, Sr. "Louie"; sons, Robert and Octaviano Jr. (Roberta) both of Fort Wayne; daughters, Connie Boyd of Illinois and Sally (Jerome) Richard of Louisiana; brother, Joe (Sherry) Gonzalez; sisters, Lillie (Richard) Farias, Mary Garcia, Sue (Robert) Perez and Nellie (Mike) Riesdan; 7 grandchildren, Andrea Mosby, Lupe Arambula, Tonya Cooper, Richard Ramirez, Arthur Jr. and Isaiah DeLeon and Jody Richard; and 15 great grandchildren, Jazmine Arambula, Dyon and Qadry Mosby, Austin and Colton Cooper, Reese Tracy, Isabella, Mackenzie and Ethan Ramirez, Joaquin and Isabela Arambula, Jessie, Lilly and Jasmine Brakely and Ema Rose Parkam.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Mike and Charlie Gonzalez.

Funeral Service is 1 p.m., Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
