Emily Jane Elsner, 81, a resident of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. She was born February 18, 1943, in Wellington, Ohio to Oswell and Grace (Wetter) Cusick. She had 16 siblings.

Jane graduated with an associates degree in Business Management from Purdue University. She worked for Sheller Globe for over 40 years. Jane enjoyed reading at her lake house and spending time with family and friends. Jane's greatest joy was caring for their daughter, Robin. She faithfully attended Thorne Creek Bethel Church of God, in Columbia City, where she was a member.

Survivors include her loving husband, Bob, whom she was married to for 62 years; their daughter, Robin of Columbia City; brother, Allen Cusick of Fort Wayne; brother, Glenn Cusick of Lisbon, Ohio and sister, Shirley (Bob) Thirion of Lisbon, Ohio; seven nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Beverly.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 13, 2024 at Covington Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, with Pastor Phil Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Friday.
