Emma Rosalie Hall, 93, of Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away at her home on June 12, 2023. Born September 20, 1929 in Martinsburg, MO, she was a daughter of Frederick E. and Emma Evelyn (Rudolph) Watkins. She was a member of First Christian Church for over 70 years. She worked as a Secretary at Bowmar Instruments and at Achduth Vesholom Temple, where she retired. The last surviving member of the Alpha Chapter of Sigma Beta Sorority, she held all offices and was President until 2022. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crewel embroidery, dancing, writing poems (a few were published in books), coloring and playing golf. A 1947 honors graduate of Elmhurst High School, she was married 68 years to Edwin R. Hall, Class of 1945, who died in 2017. They enjoyed their cottage at Pretty Lake and winters in N. Ft. Myers, Florida. They had 3 sons, David, MD (Tina), Steven (Diane) and Gary (Cindy) who survive her. They had 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother (Theron R. Dosch) and a sister (Loretta J. Boswell). Funeral service 1:00 pm, Friday, June 16, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation also from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home. Entombment in Lindenwood Cemetery, 2324 W. Main Street, Fort Wayne, IN.
