Ernest A. Rhodes, 91, died Thursday December 13, 2012. He was born February 4, 1921 in LaOtto, IN to the late Charles and Veda Rhodes. Ernest retired from Knukle Valve after 35 years of service and ran his own business Rhodes Appliance Repair. He was a decorated Army veteran of WWII.

Surviving are his wife Helen L. Rhodes, sons James (Rebecca) Rhodes, David Rhodes, 5, grandchildren, Kim, Michelle, Andrea, Dan, Kara and 5 great-grandchildren, Madeline, Tyler, Claire, Lauren and Jacob, brother, Donald Rhodes and sister, Fern Sage. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers.

Service is 1:00 p.m. Monday December 17, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 2 hours prior to service. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #241 and the U.S. Army. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
