Ernestine (Teeny) Benward ascended to heaven peacefully in her home July 18, 2015 at 7:45 a.m. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Benward.

Leaving behind children, Susan (David) Crace, Cindy (Robert) Hinkle, Jeoff (Jodie) Benward, Shelley Alford, Lori Audette, 15 grandchildren, 33 ½ great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Teeny was a sports enthusiast, and an avid golfer, had a love for IU basketball, and a quilter extraordinar. To know her, you would say she loved life her family and friends.

Services to be held on Saturday 1:00 p.m. July 25, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd with calling from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred Memorials to Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana.
