Ervin L. "Pete" Weaver, 80, of Fort Wayne, a former resident of Garrett, passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 at Lutheran Hospital surrounded by his family. Born Nov. 19, 1928 in Williamsport, PA, he was a printer most of his life. "He was a great man and will be greatly missed". He is survived by his wife, Ann of Fort Wayne; sons, Wayne "Bud" (Lori) Weaver of Garrett, Ervin "Pete" Weaver Jr of Indianapolis; daughters, Gloria (Henry) Temple of Garrett and Shawn (Bryan) Gumbert of Fort Wayne; brothers, Charles (Ginny) Weaver of South Whitley, Ollie (Doris) Weaver of Placentia, CA; sister Cindy (Tim) Heffley of Auburn, IN; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
