Esther L. Butler, 72, died Friday at her home. She was born February 10, 1941 in Three Rivers, MI to the late Major and Fern Goodenough. Esther was a general laborer in various businesses.

Surviving are her children, Penny (Rick) Roberts, Danny (Angie) Butler, Mark Butler, Bruce (Teri) Butler, step-children, William and David Butler, siblings, Fern (Larry) Dentler, Rose (John) Reardon, Mary Gearhart, Charlotte Simmons and Major (Karen) Goodenough Jr., 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Butler in 2003 and a brother, Clarence.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday December 4, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with calling 1 hour prior to service. Esther will be laid to rest in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
