Esther Pearl Mitch, 91, formerly of Decatur, Indiana, passed away December, 25, 2014, in Duluth, Georgia.
She was born, July 26, 1923, in Allen County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Claston and Lucy Guenin. A graduate of Hoagland High School, she was married to the late Eugene Mitch, also formerly of Decatur, for 53 years.

Survivors include five brothers, Herman Guenin, Frank Guenin, Ray Guenin, , Harvey Guenin and Keith Guenin; two daughters, Carole Dominick of Ponte Vedra, Florida, and Diana Wilson of Woodstock, Georgia; two grandchildren, Aimee Douglass of Roswell, Georgia, and Jeffrey Schneider of Augusta, Georgia; and three great granddaughters, Aidan, Cassidy and Reagan Douglass.

A reception is planned for, January 2, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Covington Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. in Fort Wayne followed by a service at 11 a.m. conducted by the brother of the deceased, Reverend Roy Guenin. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
