Esther F. Johnson, 93, of Fort Wayne passed away at her home Tuesday, September 15, 2020.  Esther was born May 2, 1927 in Decatur, IN a daughter of the late Marion and Della (Young) Tinkham.  She retired from Seyfert's Chips after 30 years of service.  Surviving are her children, Robert (Kathy) Johnson; Roger (Mary) Johnson; Betty (James) Gipe; and Barbara (James) Dill; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.  Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Johnson; son, George Johnson; grandson, Paul Sexton; and sisters, Audrey Bixler and Maxine Kaher.  Funeral service is 1:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2020 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service.  Burial will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens.  Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice Home.
