Esther A. Vance, 87, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday July 1, 2007 at Parkview Hospital. Born Sept. 6, 1919 in Fort Wayne, she was a clerk at Murphy''s Department Store. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Harkenrider of Fort Wayne; a sister, Eileen Scott of Fort Wayne; a niece Suzanne of Louisiana; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob D.Vance. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Thursday with calling one hour prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Heritage Park.
