Ethel K. Hilbish, 99, died Thursday, February 12, 2015. She was born September 12, 1915 in Allen Co. IN to the late John and Julia Braun. Ethel was a founding member of the Bethany Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her children, Jean Hartman, Verna Loper and a brother Norman Braun and a brother-in-law, Robert Barron and 11 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hilbish, sons, Jerry and John Hilbish, daughter Barbara Barron, brothers, Mart and Ralph and Richard Braun and sisters, Mildred Springer and Gladys Braun.

Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 at Bethany Lutheran Church 2435 Engle Rd. Ft. Wayne with viewing 1 hour prior to service. There will also be calling 3 -5 p.m. Sunday February 15, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Bethany Lutheran Church.
