Ethel Thompson, 87, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday April 13, 2008 at Parkview Hospital. Born May 30, 1920 in Overton City, Tenn, she had worked at G.E. for 32 years and was a member of the Elex Club. She was a member of Turner Chapel A M E Church where she was in the senior women''s club. She is survived by grandsons, Carmican, Edrease and Courtney Thompson all of Marion; great grandchildren, Jayshawn, Marty and Louis Thompson; sister, Nellie Alexander of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayes Thompson, and a son, Bruce Hayes Thompson. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday with calling one hour prior at Turner Chapel A M E Church 836 E.
