Evelyn L. Perry, 82, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, October 1, 2015. She was born March 17, 1933 in Fort Wayne to the late Harvey W. and Gladys L. Bradbury. Evelyn was a member of Anthony Wayne First Church of God and sang in the choir and was part of Dare to Care. She volunteered at the Allen County Election Board, Heart Association and was an Avon Lady.

Surviving are her children, Marcia (Michael) Vaught, Toni (Murray) Weber, Jacques (Janet) Perry, Cheryl (Matthew) Perry Confer, Jacki (Jeff Turner) Perry, 6 grandchildren, Justin, Jamie, Jarrod, Jena, Marissa, Brandon and 3 great-granddaughters, Emersyn, Ava, and Brynley. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Donald and Robert Shumaker, and Wilbert Bradbury.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday October 5, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with viewing 1 hour prior to service. There will also be viewing Sunday 3 - 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorial are to Anthony Wayne First Church of God.
