Evelyn M. Chaney, 89 of Ft. Wayne, passed away Sunday May 4, 2008 at Parkview Hospital. She was a member of the North Christian Church, Ft. Wayne Women''s Club and D.A.V. Aux. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Evelyn is survived by her husband Jack; sons William Mather (Patricia) of Ft. Wayne, James Chaney (Chiarina) of Las Vegas, and Donald Chaney (Joyce) of Ft. Wayne; daughters Judy Mather Taule of Las Vegas and Nancy Chaney Mihalik of Ft. Wayne; 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Evelyn took great pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved scrap booking. She is preceded in death by her sisters Vicki Kammeyer and Ruby Fairleigh. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington RD with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be Thursday between 4:00 and 8:00p.m. Memorial Contributions can be made to North Christian Church.
