Evelyn I. Jones, passed away on January 5, 2025. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on February 24, 1930, a daughter of the late Lewis and Vesta Groves.

She retired from G.E. in Fort Wayne. She was very active in the Elex Club of G.E. as well.

She enjoyed traveling and camping. She also enjoyed painting and bowling. Evelyn will be remembered for keeping herself busy and always being on the go.

She is survived by children, Susan (John) Chavez, Michael (Chris) Stark, Nancy Stark and Deborah (Andrew) McNair; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her  first husband, Fred Stark; second husband, Don Jones; brother, Robert Groves; sister, Dorothy Gerhard; and parents.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804 with two hours of calling prior.
