Flora M. Horstman, 89, of Angola and formerly of Fort Wayne, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Lakeland Nursing and Rehab Center. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Frieda Reynolds. She was a member of United Faith Presbyterian Church in Fort Wayne and Metz Christian Church in Angola. She retired from Magnavox in 1986 after 34 years of service.
She is survived by her two daughters, Rose (Louis) Ojeda of Fort Wayne and Barbara Ann (Ralph) Menefee of Angola; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Gilbert in 2003; three sisters, Betty Fiedler, Gertrude Short, and Goldiebell Axson; brother, Leon Reynolds.
Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Calling is also 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 Friday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are to Hospice Home of N.E. Indiana or Angola Hospice.
