Florence C. Putman, 83 of Ft. Wayne, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008. She had retired in 1985 from Sears and was a former member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Florence is survived by her sons Stephen (Karen) and Michael (Linda) Putman; grand daughters Kristine, Jennifer, Nichole and Angela; grandsons Brent, Jason and Cory; brother Paul Fritze and sister Lillian Norton of Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Ted"; daughter Judith A. Harrington; and three siblings. Funeral service is 11:00am on Friday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling there one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Kingston Residence, Winchester Road.
