Flynn James Kennedy, 82, formerly of Fort Wayne passed Thursday, January 30, 2020 at his daughter's home in East Point, Michigan.  Born in Fort Wayne, he was a son to the late Paul and Cecilia Kennedy.  Flynn graduated  from Central Catholic High School and early on attended St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Fort Wayne  He served his country in the Marine Corp and was retired from Gouty's Service Station.

Flynn is survived by children, Cindy (Bruce) Colson, Beth (Jody) Kimbler, Annette Thompson and Greg Kennedy; siblings, Melvin (Cindy) Kennedy, Margaret Martin, Joanne (Gary) Greene, Eileen(John) Schuhmacher, Carolyn (Philip) Ransom, James (Cindy) Kennedy and Patrick (Denise) Kennedy; numerous generations of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Flynn was was preceded in death by wife, Janice; sons, Danny Kennedy and Timothy Kennedy; siblings, Suzanne Stark, Kevin Kennedy, Rosemary Vachon, Sheila Banks, Mike Kennedy, Karen Kennedy and Kathleen Chapla.

Funeral Service is Noon, Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior to the service.  He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens with military honors.  Officiating will be Msgr. Thadeus Balinda.  Preferred memorials are to St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Arcola.
