Francis James Moran Sr., passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at his home. Francis had served in World War II for the United States Army''s 101st Airborne Division, United States Naval Reserve, and the Indiana Air National Guard. He was also a life time member of the Veterans of Foreign War, Post 10006. Francis was married to Mildred E. Moran, who preceded him in death in May of 1997. He is also survived by five sons and one daughter. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2008 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road with calling two hours prior. A military graveside service will be preformed by the American Legion, Post 241 of Fort Wayne, at Covington Memorial Gardens.
