Francis "Leon" Wattenbarger, 73, died Thursday August 23, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born December 20, 1938 in Norman, AR to the late Walter L. and Sara Wattenbarger. He retired from Goodrich after 32 years service. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Wattenbarger, children, Gary (Colleen) Wattenbarger), Michelle (Dave) Smith, Dawn (Mark) Bowe, Timothy (Patty) Shively, Richard (Kara) Shivley, Melissa (Scott) Wilson, siblings, Lois Ann (Von) Beard, Lindell (Harold) and Rudell (Sharon) Wattenbarger, 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Service is 5:00 p.m. Tuesday August 28, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Honorng Leons wishes cremation will follow service.
