Frank R. Phillips, 78, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Ossian Health and Rehab Center in Ossian, IN. Born in Butler, PA, Frank was a son to the late Frank L. and Gladys M. (Cathcart) Phillips. He was a graduate of Union High School in Rimersburg, PA. Frank served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Paulette (Sheridan) Phillips on September 15, 1979 and she survives. Frank was a truck driver for 20 years. He then worked for Precision Die until his retirement on September 7, 2010. He was a member of American Legion Post 241 and Southwest Conservation Club. Frank enjoyed camping, traveling and visiting with family. Surviving are his children, Leslie J. "Jamie" Phillips, Trinity (Caria) Phillips, Terry G. Miller and Troy A. (Ilma) Miller; brothers, Robert L. (Loretta) Phillips, and Waine L. Phillips; sister, Janice (Tom) Boyle; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Robin Phillips; and several nieces and nephews. Frank was also preceded in death by his brother Dennis Phillips. Funeral service 1:00pm, Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service.
